Early life
Growing up, Gabriella was a simple hyur girl growing up in the less popular areas of the Shroud. She had a Father, a Mother, and a brother. The father being one to make use of his trips to the city to get plenty of booze, he often came home agitated and would take it out on his family. Her brother being the one who would protect her at any costs, he would always step in front to make sure his sister was safe, making him the one she relied on the most in her household. She would often take trips into the wooded areas with her brother to forage and Gabby would watch her older brother hunt, which she took a strong liking to. Her brother would often show her how to hunt and how to fight, just in case she were ever in trouble and he wasn't around.
The Trauma
One day, she decided she would use the things her brother taught her to catch something on her own, in an effort to prove herself strong. She took off in the later hours when the sun was still making its way down, to catch herself something. Hopefully. It was supposed to be simple, but partway through her tracking of something, everything went dark. When she awoke she was in chains, shoved into a wagon with a group of other girls, and she wouldn't be able to see her beloved brother anymore; she was kidnapped. She was forced to do many things over the course of two years, sold to a nobleman far off and used as a slave. Her struggles stacked on her, day after day, the pain becoming unbearable more often than not. Until one day when a raid came into the nobleman's house, bandits and thieves breaking in to make as many things theirs as they could. She hid in one of the wardrobes of the upstairs, praying the things in it were too valueless to look for, including her. But up they came anyways, three strong bandits discovered her while she lay hiding, and seeing her chains, one in particular took a liking to the now older teenager, and he decided to free the girl and ask if she would join up with the tribe, and Gabby only responded by saying if they could get her home she would do anything.

The Journey
An agreement would be made, where she would remain unharmed and as a part of the tribe so she may make her way home, and find her family who she so dearly missed. Then over the course of several months while figuring out where she once lived and if it would still exist, Gabby and the tribe would make their way from the peaks of Gyr Abania where this once nobleman's mansion stood, to her home. Gabby becoming very comfortable with the Bandit group, day after day they would travel, Gabby would be able to regain her hunting skills and pick up a new weapon from the Bandit Chief, her gun-blade: "The Radix". She also learned enough crafting skills from them to make her own cartridges, however, being very "aethericly tuned" as it were, she would learn the ability to use different cartridges attuned with different elements to create different effects when wielding her gunblade. She then put this to very good use in battle when they were hunting monsters who's parts they could sell, when they came across a voidsent, and a powerful one at that.
The Return
The voidsent put up quite the fight, taking out many tribe members including the brother of the Tribe Chief. Through sheer force and some aid from her trusty Radix, they eventually beat this voidsent, sending it back to where it once came from. At no small cost at all, the remnants of the Tribe were now only a dozen or so, starting out with almost twice their number when they began this journey. Unfortunately it became easier with the less of them, becoming even closer with the group as they mourned their losses, they were only a short time from Gridania, where she may ask around for locals who may have known of her family. None could answer well as the family lived far out in the wild, and were almost self-sufficient. but there was one person who she knew might have known where they were, the one who sold her father all of that booze, and upon asking him, she heard that his father frequented only more now these days than he ever had, seemingly drowning himself every day before leaving with a bag full of more bottles, and she was relieved, for a time at least. When she made it home she found her mother, slaving away in the gardens as she always did, her father passed out even more drunk than he ever was, and her brother was nowhere to be found, he too had gone missing after several days of searching for his younger sister. With a new goal she turned to the Tribe once more, asking for them all to come with her on the search for her brother, and ended up becoming the new Chief of the Tribe, and establishing a new business with them all, called "The Tribe" a group of mercenaries and hunters for hire, with herself becoming the most involved with it and taking as many jobs as she could from all over Eorzea, in an attempt to find more about what happened to her brother, and she continues that search to this day, desperate to find the only other person she cared about.

Recent Events
A lot has happened since the founding of the tribe, Gabriella became Gaia, discovered a new gender identity (thanks to the freedom of fantasias) they've taken a stronger liking to the masculine form, but still occasionally switch back. They've become (partly) a voidsent, in no small part thanks to the one they once defeated. They were embedded with a shard of that voidsent, forever aligning their own aether with darkness. They found a cure though, which was to conjure a portal and make their way to the first, where they met the love of their life, Cupid Dianthe. They spent many many many years locked in the first, with no real way of getting out, they aged quite a bit. Having been transported there not just in soul, but entirely physically, by the time they were able to get out, they were pretty much an old man. Still ever hopeful to find their brother, they don't talk about it much anymore. For now all they can hope for is to keep those that are around them safe.
